Wanted to hear Night Shift soooooooo bad, talking with Roger before the show and time wouldn't allow it for this show. OK then, Driving Wheel? Yea baby! Great live version, after the song Bryan looks at me, points and says "that's for you". Really nice guys to talk with.

Having been in radio during these years they came to town quite often...My song of choice...I Just Wanna Make Love To You! They would all ways come be the studio for an interview weather the sold out or not!

Isn't is great seeing some of the old 70's and 80's bands... I saw Foreigner last year...with Jason Bonham on drums. Two original members and two outstanding newer guys plus Bonham on drums. It was fantastic. They played well over two hours....

Remember when 3+ hours concerts were normal!

First time I saw Zep it was over 3 1/2 hours of non stop music

Great pictures! Thanks for posting. I hear that Journey is forming a tour and found their new lead singer on youtube. He was the frontman for a Journey cover band. Only in the digital age........

We lovers of music take allot of hits, dyno rock is one term used, but I love music of all types (cept rap) and will go see just about anything live. Rock is by far my fave, 2nd is modern jazz. I have been called a walking/talking music trivia book for years. Had a friends brother say he could stump me, said he had a Ted Nugent question and would ask as soon as he came back from the restroom, I said the answer was Meatloaf, his reply was how did you know before i asked the question? He never challenged me again. Keep that live music coming.....Dave

I remember that too. I saw Zepplin in Monterey, Ca. in the 70's... well over 3 hours... the old days....

I'll bet you took a frisbee and/or beach ball and/or bic lighter to the concert too!

I met a guy who followed the Dead for a whole summer and funded it by selling balloons full of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to the Dead Heads.

I seem to recall a beach ball...I think a bic lighter was involved also, but I won't tell you for what....

Love Foghat and the good old days of what I can remember!! I just had the opportunity to see Grand Funk Railroad and they blew the crowd away!! It sucks getting older but I wouldn't change a thing!!

Many moons ago I went to see Iron Butterfly, some no name opening act started out with "Blueberry Hill", that kinda sucked,
by the time they got to Dazed and Confused I was hooked for life!

Should be at the Great White show Sat. Have all access to that one as well. Don't knock them as a 80s hair band, they are a blues based band like Zeppelin and even did an all live Great Zeppelin disc that everyone I've introduced it to are blown away by it. If you judge a band by what you hear on the radio, you don't know the band! To me the least liked Kansas song is Carry on Wayword Son, and Thin Lizzy's The Boy's are Back in Town. The two bands are some of my favorites, but those are not their best work. Like my signature says, "Getting There Will Have No Meaning If You Can't Enjoy The Ride", A line from Too High A Price, a great Doobie Brothers song that most have never heard. As you can tell, I love music. Dave

Going to have to keep my eye on schedules around here, would LOVE to see Foghat. Last live music I went to was at the Birchmere in Alexandria, saw Johnny Lang-young blues player that absolutely ROCKS! Missed out on Jethro Tull by one week 'cause I didn't check schedules enough. Excellent pics...

I think I remember seeing them at Winterland in the 70's too. with Ten Years After and 10cc, although those days are a little hazzzy. As I recall, they showed Duck Soup, a Marks bro. film, in between bands

My band opened for them last year at West Chicago's Rail Road Days fest. They were awesome as usual and I've seen them at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis a few years ago.
