had my dealer do it, but it should be easy they have installtion instructions on their web site, my only complaint is with a full tank i occasionaly get some gas seeping out through the vent

it seems pretty accurate, ater half tank if you hit the throttle hard the guage drops to empty the comes back up from the gas moving around, but it does seem fairly accurate while cruzing

Just put a set of these gas caps on my Fxdwg2.  They really look great.  After seeing them in the above picture I just had to have them.

I installed the same on my 03 Road King, great instructions, it was a 1/2 hour job. Works great, much better tha the stock needle gauge, plus the addition of the volt meter is great. You can also see the formotion compass I installed last week. It seems like I get lost when I'm out for a nice afternoon ride in the country. I just bought the ness oil pressure gauge and waiting for Russell line to come in.  Jim
