I have played golf...and football and tennis. Too old for football and never real good at tennis. I do enjoy golf but I find that it interferes with a great walk through the woods.

I used to play golf and found I had to bring all 14 of my balls. Usually left the course with only 2. When I played tennis I used to play with all 4 of my balls to begin with, sometimes I only used 1, left the court with no more than 2 in my pocket. I like the poster!

True on the race track but certainly not riding a HD on the street, only takes $$

I learned how to ride on my 50th birthday. I've been into cars for years, and figured I'd round out my 10 year mid life crisis with a Harley.
I took one three hour lesson in the morning, and was on a new 1800cc Harley in the afternoon.
Riding a bike has exceeded my expectations. Now in my 5th year, the desire to ride only increases.
Why do I ride? Because it is freedom to be alone on two wheels - just me and machine in the open air. No interruptions. It is one of the few things that clears my head.
By the way - I would ride even if I only had one testicle - ;D  ;D

I would consider starting with 14 and leaving with two a great day......20 to start is my minimum...leaving with any (that were mine to start with, not others found while seeking my own) a bonus. :)

Why do I ride?  As long as I can ride I feel as young as I did when I was a 17 year old kid on my Honda CB 750 F.  Still get the butterflies in my gut before I get on. Not many things do that any more.  Also love the planning and anticipating road trips. Planning the Sturgis trip right now.  :bananarock:

Well said and I'm with you on the feeling you get when you put your leg over the bike and take a ride on a trail or on a highway.
