New Pipes - Bassani Pro Streets
« on: October 21, 2004, 03:56:45 PM »

Well, finally got the new pipes on.  I had a difficult time making up my mind and in the end, I tried something different.  I went with black!  I keep getting comments on how good they look and that finally, something different.  They sound great and I finally got the correct download from the dealer!

Wow Skull, you certainly were bold! Looks great! I like the dark "Night Train" look with a little bit of chrome to contrast. I dread if/when they release a CVO Night Train---think I'm gonna want it. Your pipes certainly provide contrast!

Yellow,

They run really good.  I had the ECM reflashed.  I may try thr Race Tuner or Power Commander this spring.  Don't really have any plans to do much more to the engine so I may just keep it the way it is.  As good as its running, there is always that little voice in my head that keeps telling me it can run better.

Any thoughts...?  What set up do you have with your EFI?

Skull,

I only have a Revtech DVO (digital fuel optimizer) has a four pot system to add fuel at different ranges depending on what upgrades have been done to the motor. I only have the SE breather kit, V&N pro pipes & the DFO.  Not serious enough to have it DYNO tuned. I know I can easily keep up with my cousins SEEG. He's got the Rineharts, SE Breather, cams & H-D programmer but,  he walks away from me (in 3rd, 4th  & 5th gears) on the highway with his SEDWG2 with SE 103 high compression carbed motor & 6 speed H-D gear set.  He won't tell me all of the details of that motor & he's got 60# on me.

RX,

They came from the dealer.  I do not know the part number either.

Did you get the pipes put on?
