As some of you know, I got the 06 SEVrod last July, and before delivery had the SE Muffs installed, K&N, and ECM Flash for that set-up. Well, after 1100 miles, the bike still had a stumble in the 2500 to 4K range...like a miss. Beyond 4K, it ran fine, though it still felt a bit "flat" at times at steady RPM. Soooo...had a bolt on the heat shield that was stipped from the factory, and one of the Chrome Muffler Clamps that came on the bike was discoloured and pitted. Took it in to have that done, and the dealer was running a special on pipes, A/C and PCIII, with a free dyno tune with the purchase of all three. Since I had purchased the other two items when the bike was new, and paid for the flash that wasn't working properly, they agreed to do the PCIII and dyno for the cost of the PCIII.
Bike was running waaaaay too rich with the flash, so that is what was causing the stumbling, as you can see. No dramatic improvment in HP/TQ, but drivability is MUCH improved, and the A/F is about as close as it can get. The guy spent 5 hours tuning the bike, trying various mixes, and this was as good as it gets with the pipes I have. I am satisfied with the result...I could get more with a different exhaust, but I like the looks of the SE Muffs (like the stock pipes), and it's got a nice, throaty sound like a small block Chevy.
Here's the chart...
