06 Ultra CVO Rear Amp Wiring Diagram (installing amp)
« on: February 08, 2017, 11:23:42 AM »

I may have done a few modifications to my bike and it might be slightly louder than stock...... With that being said I needed more sound from the stereo.  I did some research and upgraded the front and rear speakers to JM Rokkers.  I then added an amp in the fairing on top of the HK unit.  This is wired with high level inputs and out tot he connectors to the rear stock amp (following the instructions from the install video of the JM amp, thought I am using a Soundstream Stealth amp).

Everything is powered up and running and sounds amazing, except when first powered up.  When it powers up I get a loud pop from the front speakers. I know this is from the rear stock amp powering on before the front amp.  I am hoping there is a "remote" signal wire that tells the rear amp to turn on and I can put a "delay" on it to make it turn on last.  Anyone have any ideas? :nixweiss:
