Got the Lil woman her own tunes for her Fatboy for her birthday .... got to say it sounds pretty darn good for what it is, definately listenable, no Hawg Wired setup but not bad. 50 watts per channel, replaces your stock riser mount and the amp is built in, slick setup...

Those are nice I don't think I've seen them before. Who makes them? I've got a buddy I've been looking out for some speakers so he can have tunes on his RK.

Oops - that would have been helpful info - to much sun this weekend   They are called Dock N Rock - available on ebay and J&P cycles - there is another very similar one that has the same speakers but the amp is separate, the speakers are separate and the mount is separate. This was a cleaner install for our purpose but I saw the other model on a RK and it worked better because of the Nacelle - the amp looks like a voltage regulator mounted on the down tubes and the MP3 player mounted up on the bar by the left hand - same speakers and sound.

The only real gripe is neither the Amp unit or the MP3 came with a mounting cradle thingy. I bought a universal car deal that is a bit bulky for the job, might have to look for something a lil cleaner - and of course a chrome MP3 player would have been nice also...

Would this work for you - Accessory top for Ipod / small cell phone cradle?

I think that would work nicely and yes I believe it is smaller,,,,but most importantly a heck of a lot cheaper than the 39$ car kit that ABC warehouse had!  Problem was it was the only thing I needed to finish the job and I wouldn't get away with putting it off for a mail order item at that point since she already saw the suprise

You're not gonna believe this, I had my buddy with a bike shop install this when she dropped it off for some other thing so it was a suprise, but didn't have an MP3 player yet. When he brought it back to the house to suprise her we just hooked up my XM Inno/MP3 player to show her. So then we had to go get an MP3 player, and heck I figure whatever she wants just not Ipod and its all good. So she gets the Sandisk 6 gig thing and a good price at ABC warehouse where I spend way too much money so they know me and they work with you on any prices - FYI- Never pay marked price there. Anyhow tonight I post this, and Dood comes back with a smaller mount, so I get lookin on google just to see if there is a chrome MP3 player and I find this - A chrome case for her model MP3 player - The girl just attracts Chrome!
