It's weird to think so.  But from the mix of other bikes I've seen over the years it does kind of some so. 

There are two part numbers for the red inner.  One just the body panel and one an ass'y part number with more pieces along with it.  Neither show up as good numbers any longer when plugging them in to Chicago Harley, Surdyke or the other online available sites.

On Monday I'll get the local parts counter to run the number for me to see if old inventory might exist somewhere.  Not likely but worth a shot.  Short of that will just get the bugger painted some day.

Very nice find, Don  :2vrolijk_21:  I've only ever seen one of those, a few months ago parked outside the dealer near Anniston, AL, but really liked the look.  You done good, buddy  ;) :drink:

Oh, yeah.  It's still out in the truck.  Guess I got excited and forgot about it.

The guy just sent it with me saying "let him take a look, then pay me or send it back."  It's dirty but it's undamaged.  It is a Corbin but, oddly, someone has put a gel pad inside of it at some time.  Will go get it, wipe it down and get a picture for you.

Thank you TC.  Very much.  I've only seen a very few of them in person over the years.  Always lusted after them.  Have just always casually kept a watch out for a nice bike at the right price with the right circumstances.  For this fair of a price all those criteria just happened to fall together this morning.

That would be outstanding.  Truly ideal.  I loathe tasks with only moderate familiarity and long downtime between disassembly and reassembly.  Can't thank you enough. 

Since the painter will charge out more for the special mixed batch of paint than anything else for painting small parts guess I ought to look it over close to see if anything else of the same color needs sprayed at the same time.

I was wondering the same thing Don.  Is it the bike you mentioned a couple of weeks ago or a completely different one?
