Yup I heard the same thing---a deposit would not guarantee a price. The price is based on the build date not the order date.

It is based on when the bike arrives at the dealership.  I think Deeley Canada holds these bikes until the price increases and then ships.  After all they probably have paid HD USA and then sent them out to the dealer at the inflated price.  How often have you seen the same bike at the dealer with a new price after the increase????  :soapbox:

Drifter
That is great news- I don't think very many will do that at least when I purchased mine last November I was not guaranteed a price if I took April delivery.
score one for the good guys. :mango:

I didn't really want to say the name of dealer but its about a 2 hour drive south of Kane's. Looks like they are in the business to sell bikes and if good pricing and good service is what it takes then that's what they do.

Yeah, I've heard they're pretty good, know a few people who've bought from them.
I checked out their new bike prices a few years ago - MSRP, no freight or dealer prep.

Latest price increase just in. Before Sales tax, PDI, tire & battery tax and whatever else they add, a new SERG on the showroon floor of Heritage HD in Edmonton is $40,900. When it's all said and done you're looking at $44,000 or more.
