Really appreciate the work and reviews. Have you had a BSR on w/ either shield?

Great review Doc! This will help a lot of guys or girls decide. My wife does'nt ride that often but I'm concerned she'll get some buffeting back there. Let me know if you give a passenger a ride.

Was able to get a little over 100 miles on the bike today with the 14" Dark tint, riding two up. I like it even better two up ,which is 90% of my riding this way the 14" shines. The wife says the shield helps but still has wind but better. With her on it drops the bike rear down just enought to make the shield work even better and still lets me see over the shield very well, say about 60 ft in front of the bike. I have had the CV GT small and between the two I would chose this shield for looks and comfort over it.  Doc

Doc, thanks for the reviews.  What about the thinkness of the shields?  How was the shield vibration?  That was a major complaint on other shileds.  Thanks,  Let's Roll

Doc,
looks like you got the revision after mine. joe changed the mold for the last 2 - 3" after the outboard screw to fit the contour better. Since i changed saddles to a solo seat it raised me up an inch. the 14" was working good now im thinking of going to the 15" lt. tint. You are 6'1" w 34" IS I am 5'9" w 32 IS so you sit about 2" taller in the saddle. I'm assuming you are in the stock seat, so with my new 1" taller solo seat my eye line is sitting about 1" lower than yours is. Do you ride with a face shield on your helmet or just glasses? my setup as is with just glasses  and the windshield at 14" it is a little short for me now.

I have been fortunate to be able to work with Joe from CB in the development of this new mold  and that i have been able to try out the different sizes.  I also am not affiliated with CB other than allowing them to use my bike as a mold, I allowed them to keep my bike for a week Plus in order to create this windshield. nreturn i get a free windshield or two.( and all the prototypes that dont work)

@Lkn4advtr : Which solo-seat do you have that brings you up 1" ?
( I am searching for such a seat but only have found the opposites till now )

I am 6,1"+ a little and have a 31" in seam, I wear a half helmet with sunglasses only, and ride on the stock 09SERG seat. The 14" riding two up is perfect for me. The 15" clear would also work well but, with two up its in my line of sight, For me the 14" dark tint is perfect.  Doc

Bruce Thank You for being the guy that helped make this happen, without your bike at the shop at Cee Bailys I think this would have taken much longer and I am glad to hear they took good care of you.  Doc

I tried the install like I have done on many RGs. See Pic, But Cee Bailys instructions make the install easyer with the new hardware kit. Also I would suggest if you have had any windshied changes to pick up 5 new well nuts as the nylon washers in the kit are stiff and will not go over a mushroomed well nut.

Another plus with this shield is that you can get your hand down between the shield and inner fairing to clean it with lots of room.  Doc
