Need confirmation- will a stock 2009 FLHTC seat fit on a 2008 SERK?

Can anyone confirm I can use a 2009 FLHTC seat on my 2008 SERK? Someone mentioned due to the frame change they may not be interchangeable. HD parts cat list some touring seats as 08 or later compatible so I would think a stock takeoff 2009 FLHTC seat would fit on my 2008 SERK. Can anyone confirm that?
