I researched and chose Amsoil in all 3 holes.

I was planning on going with Amsoil in two of the holes and Redline Shockproof in the other.

I'm sure Amzoil, Mobil and Redline are all good choices.  I can get all three locally.

Too many choices.  Way too many choices.

I just switched from Amsoil to Redline. Not sure about the results in the motor, but switching to Redline in the primary and trans resulted in easier shifting and any whine from trans is much quieter.

That's good news.  After 9000 miles in six months, the tranny is getting louder.

Going to change at 10,000

I'm not for sure if it was the oil, but when my engine smoked a month ago in Nashville, I was on my second Lucas Oil change.  The inner cam bearing went out in a traffic jam, and took out my oil pump.  After over a half an hour the oil was cool and water thin.  I'll never run Lucas again.  I'm sure the traffic had some play in this scenario, but I never had over heat problems with Amsoil.  It just got hard for me to find it.

Why didn't you go to Mobil 1 V-Twin.  Much easier to find and one of the top, if not the top, synthetic oil.  I run Mobil 1 V-Twin in all three holes in the SEUC and when I take the SESG in for it's 1K, it'll be Mobil 1 V-Twin in that one too.

Don't get into oil wars because there are so many good ones
Interesting to note however the oil sample above has almost 1% fuel dulution. Could that have affected the viscosity?
