Hi folks,

Here are some pix of the new ride...nothing fancy, no exotic locales, just my driveway !!

Not sure what I did wrong? I had seven pictures, separate files. I did a browse on each one assuming they were all being collected...it only took my last one.

Can someone tell me how to attach multiplex .jpg files please?

You can only attach one picture at a time. Once you've posted one picture hit reply and post another, etc., etc....

You can attach more than one if you use something like photo bucket

That's not "attaching" that's "embedding" by using the image tag (code) linking to the photo that is posted somewhere on the internet.

That red is gonna be the best color.

The black and silver one is actually bare metal clear coated for the silver part. Not a good idea to me.
It has a sticker that says any scratch or chip needs repaired or it will rust.

By the way, your dealer should be able to tell you when they get invoiced for the bike.. When that happens you will know it's on the truck en route to you!

Close-up of the tank on the black/silver one I saw the other day. First off, I'm not a skull guy so the badges would have to go. Not sure how I feel about the silver on the tank. It's not chrome and it's not a real brushed metal. Think it would mark up over time.

Vastly prefer the red!

The wheels are super cool tho. Wouldn't want to clean them however.

actually not too bad. takes me 20 minutes to clean both wheels. One microfiber with a 50/50 mix of Zaino Brother's Z-6 QD spray and water; cleans the wheels and puts a fantastic shine on them at the same time. And a dry microfiber.

Once you get the hang of it, not too bad, but 21 spokes x 2 is a lot!!

Thanks for the pic! I'm in the other camp tho, got a black/silver one coming by the end of the year. :-) I don't see the difference between paint and clear coat in so far as protecting the metal. Am i missing something? What was the black diamond metallic like? I agree about the friggin skull emblem. Gotta find a better one on the 'bay.'

I am just the opposite. i really like the skull on the tank. i assume it was put there as an homage to Willie G. since these will be the last CVO's he had a hand in designing...I kind of like riding one of the last products from his tenure as head of the design studio....

Its a red base with gold flakes so yes it looks green.

Im guessing the "gold" is suppose to be the gold metallic flake in the paint and the "liquid sun" part is the polished metal part of the tank. T-Minus 14 days for delivery
