10k miles on an island......  There can't be any road there you have not traveled many times to get that kind of mileage in 6 months !

Nice run. Have you had any trouble with your breakout like oil leak, valve ticking etc.?
Mine has gone 5000 miles and need to replace the break rotor, break caliper and oil seal on the front fork.

Had mine a month and a half and at 3000, no maintenance issues yet. Tires still looking good. I do have slight bubbling on the aft section of the rear fender though. I will let the warranty fix that though when the weather starts to suck.

2000 miles on mine no trouble except rust bubble on rear fender

3005 on mine runs and rides beautifully, rust bubble on rear fender, and the rear reflector has come louse and rattles are the only bummers about the bike so far

  HD service says I've got another 1000 more to go before I need a change.  Maybe Metzeler will have a tire for the front by then . . .

Had a leak from my rocker gasket.  Problem solved after minor tightening . . . but ended up changing the gasket under warranty.  Found rust starting under the clear on tank and rear fender, replaced under warranty, no questions asked.

Changed my rear tire after 8000km to Metzeler ME 880 Marathon XXL 240/40 R 18 M/C 79V and I'm happy with it. Now I'm hoping, that there will soon be a Metzeler front tire available.

Same general area but mine had not yet broken thru the clear coat.

My first rear fender was real bad, the replacements doing the same thing but not as bad. waiting for the riding season to end to order the new fender. doesn't  seem to be getting any worse but rust will never just stop.

wow.....I mean........wow.....numerous tank and rear fender paint bubbling/rust issues? 

I have checked mine and everything seems fine, so far, this is unreal.....paint is a selling point of CVO's....

They did replace my front fender due to paint peeling on the underside of the front lip, but bubbling paint is bad..

Its the bare metal thing.....the red ones will be fine.  I noticed a tiny, what looks like a, lack spec under my clear on my tank....close to the center council.  I hope its not rust!  I never get the thing wet....its NEVER in anything but PERFECT weather.  The spec is the size of this period " . ".....I'm probably being to anal....but hey.

  Nicky, keep an eye on it.  Mine started to grow over time.  Good news is Moco covered it under warranty no questions asked.

That is exactly why I am riding her hard the first year and a half. I have been through all types of storms. I clean her soon after and its always in the garage between rides but I want to find out everything before the warranty runs out.
