Praying for you Jim.
Hopefully it was just something minor like hand surgery.

Hi Joel. I wish. This is a lot tougher. They removed about a foot of my colon and I have a temporary bag on my side. If I can heal properly it will be reversed at a later date. Had a setback do to a reaction to medication and have a NG tube through my nose into my stomach to drain it. Not at all pleasant but it sure beats the alternative. Thank you for your support.

Get well soon Jim. Lots of prayers for you. Stuart

I read (online) that Jim's recovery was being done inside a well padded Bushtec trailer.

Don I wish to God it was. Sure would beat laying on my back in a hospital bed. My days of trailer flipping are pretty much over. Once I heal enough to get out of here it’s time to enjoy the rest of my life.

Amen to that Jim. Most of us have reached a point where it's time to do as we please and as we've earned the privilege of doing. Heal, feel better, and do as you damn well please. Then each day rinse and repeat that last part. :drink:

That’s my intentions. I’ve had a great run with 96 trailers. Two I still own. But the time has come to get out of the garage and spend the rest of my time with family and friends. If it wasn't for a few major setbacks I would be at home recuperating. But it wasn’t in the cards. Yesterday was 7 days since surgery so maybe if I do well by the weekend I’ll be at home. Need to get the NG tube out of my nose before that’s is even a consideration. Then get off the IV pain meds. The bag and catheter I can deal with.

Sorry to see this Jim. Hope you get feeling better real soon.

Thanks Joe. First time ever sick. It’s quite an experience for a novice. I have a great support group and the greatest wife on earth. I’m sure I will get through it but in the meantime sure is painful.
