Does anyone have a set of these laying around where they could take a rivet count and measurement for me. I need to know how many rivets hold the board onto the metal top piece. I'd also like to get a rough measurement for the thickness of the rubber insert. I'd rip mine apart but I'm 100 miles away from it and can't at the moment.
Reason.... I'm going to drill the rivets to remove the inserts from the cover, weld up a new fastening method and powder the covers and put them back together with screws. Thanks in advance. Pics would be appreciated as well if it's not too much to ask.
