Title: License Plate Frame
Post by: kbcvo on April 19, 2014, 10:43:30 PM
So I have picked up the 2012 FLTRXSE and wondering what people are using for a plate frame. Kind of difficult with the plastic thing that the MOCO has installed. Thanks for the help.

Do I have to drill any new holes to use the Yaffe frame. I think that it looks the best if I can find it in stock some where. Not really patient enough to deal with ordering from Yaffe.

No drilling at all.   You use the holes provided from the stock holder.  You can buy it from Eastern Performance.  They ship quickly too and fairly easy install. Removing  the cap off the instep ion the fender can be a little thought with the tire on.  Small 7/16 socket and not rushing really helps. And also put lots of masking tape around the area before stating the install.    Stuart.

I just went with chrome.  It's a great piece.   Don't forget the masking tape. Use lots of it. Or you WILL scratch the area around the opening.     Thanks. Stuart.
