Well first off, I am sorry about the quality of the pictures. The files seem to have degraded somewhat since I downloaded them to my laptop. Don't know what the watery looking effect is, but it wasn't on the pics earlier. Anyway, the guy who did the work is first rate and it was only because of his suggestions that I didn't get carried away with this and turn it into a circus wagon. We started by looking over Beagle's Cherry Bomb and discussing what I liked about it. Robert Gagnon the pinstriper took some pics of the bike. Then we discussed what I wanted my bike to look like which was essentially what the MoCo might have done to create a SERG for this year. So Robert disuaded me from adding in a wide white stripe and some other ideas I had to go with a subtle look. Of course when we joined the stripes on the gas tank and saddlebags across the side panels we had to come up with a new place for the two dragons that are the bike's namesake. First idea was either side of the tour-pak, but we realized that would take away from the whole flame theme on the sides. So with two different size decals from Deals Gap, the next choice was the larger one on the fairing and the smaller one on the rear of the tour-pak. While you might not see it, they are outlined in the same red as the flame outlines and the stripe accents. Finally was the lettering on the rear fender. LD was orginally Los Dragon, but my daughter got on my case about the mis match of singular and plural in the two words. It was supposed to have been Los Dragones, but someone suggested the Dungeons and Dragons spelling of Los Dragonnes. Somehow that seemed a good fit, so now according to Twolane, I am likely to be questioned at some point by some nerdy folks calling themselves dungeon masters or some such thing. LOL That should be a conversation to remember. Anyway, as you might have noticed, there has been a lot of other things done to LD since the voyage to MV last year. The 103 kit in the motor, the 65115-98B Screamin Eagle mufflers I love the sound of. The Doherty Power Pacc with the really cool flamed cut-out air cleaner cover. The Corbin Seat system, the 10" Chubby's with all braided cables, chrome controls and tailfin mirrors. The Ultra Classic light bar on the king tour-pak. Rear speaker kit, The Clearview recurved windshield. A lot of matching flame accent pieces from the MoCo and of course now the flame accents and striping on the Mirage Orange Pearl Paint. There are a few more things on the wish list. PM 6 piston chrome brakes, a hydraulic clutch, chrome inner primary and finally, the wheels. I have a really cool idea for those that Big Daddy and Twolane are in on. Not sure when that might happen, but some time down the road. I have to say, I think I've had more fun building my own SERG than had the MoCo made one this year and I made changes to it. At the end of the day, LD is one of kind, styled to suit my tastes and set-up for my comfort and riding style. And isn't that what it's all about ?

Anyone in the SoCal area PM me if you want Robert's phone number. I am not exagerating when I say these photos do not do justice to this man's talent.
