07 SE ultra Classic - True dual vs slip ons vs 2 into 1
« on: March 16, 2007, 04:30:06 PM »

New to the CVO group.  i have a SE ultra Classic 07 and want to get some words of wisdom on the pros / cons of true dual vs slip ons vs 2 into 1 regarding torque and performance? I would also like to know what anyones preference is and why for thunderheaders, rienhart true duals or d&d fat cats?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks VaEagle! It helped answer some of the questions I had.

I'll post one other regarding Thuderheaders and the black ceramic finish.  Has anyone seen these?

MW,

Welcome to the CVO site

If I were to vote I would say True Duals
Do a search on the site for the different brands you are asking about
I would think the Thunderheader will be at the bottom for favorites here on the site

Thanks Jeff

Thats the way i am leaning.  I actually have an 04 road king classic with rienhart true duals, SE 103 plus some other special engine modifications but i keep hearing the advantages of 2 into 1 as it regards to torque versus hp.  the rienharts are my favorite but when I have talked to harley dealers they seem push thunderheaders, D&D, Vance & Hines.  I guess it boils down to preference.
