D&D 2-1 for FLTRXSE ROad Glide
« on: October 15, 2018, 09:19:59 PM »

2018 CVO RG has Vance & Hines with Cobra Pipes strait from the dealer.  Added TTS tuner and it’s okay.  Looking for more than okay.  I love my 2014 CVO RK with the D&D Fat Cats, Harley Race tuner and Fueling cam install. Thinking of going D&D on the 2018 RG and re-tuning with the TTS.  Need to step it up a bit.  Any advice and or thoughts would be much appreciated.

What are you trying to achieve?  More sound, better performance, improved gas mileage?

Since your warranty is void now, you can do anything the wallet can handle (with one eye on the cost of rebuilding/replacing the entire engine if sumping occurs down the road).

Several threads on here re headwork, cams, and exhaust that really pump up the output.  I don't have the links to them, but the search function can get you there.  Enjoy and good luck.

Thank you Para Bellum.  Switched the pipes over to D&D, added ThunderMax Tuner and have substantially changed the performance.  Attached is the Dyno sheet. 97.35 hp and 113.87 torque.  Rides well, so I’m going to stick with this for a few months, do some more research and figure out what is next

Why switch to the Thundermax? Did something go wrong with the stock ECM?

I also added the Thundermax Iride rear suspension system and it is controlled thru the Thundermax tuner.  The Iride Really changes the ride for the better.

Moving the TQ to the right is likely what you're looking for. Change the cams and bump the compression along
with your D&D pipe. If you want more than that, get some work done to the heads. A pocket port and a bigger
intake valve will help allot.
