We are all fine.  I even got to lead a couple of times so now everybody wants to go back to the snow!  :nixweiss:

Having connection problems so can't post a.t.t. No WiFi where we're staying Monday.

After trying to become the Donner Party, two wheeler styled, everything has turned out exceptionally well. Made a trip to Zion yesterday and did the three hour guided tour of Monument Valley today.

We will post again when we can.

Don't let my wife hear you saying that. My wife will, and has ridden in all types of weather, including snow, pouring rain, and hail. She is a veteran rider, and can keep up with most "men". We also ride with a couple of other women in our group that I can deffinately say the same about. One of those woman (coincidentaly also named Terri), is one of the BEST riders that I have had the privlege to ride along side of (man or woman). On the other hand, I have seen "men" riders that would not ride at 85 degree weather if there was a slight mist coming down. Terri is deffinately a trooper in my book, but don't think that only "men" can take that kind of punishment. I give a very high five to Terri and the rest of the group, but just wanted to let you know that woman can and do ride as good as men, in all sorts of weather. :2vrolijk_21:

Duke was leading us in our search for a hotel room.  A reminded.....all the power was out on the south side of Main St. and that just happened to be the side that all the motels were on.  Didn't matter, they were all still booked up with the exception of the only motel that had propane heat (don't ask why they'd still have rooms available....except to say the rooms were scarey lookin :nervous:)

Nobody was taking their helmets off at this point in time...... :huepfenlol2:

This lady was on it.......as fast as it would drop, she was a shovelin......

Several other bikes joined us under the abandoned gas station awning.  Since there wasn't any electricity, the gas pumps weren't working.  But the local mountain men came to their rescue with gas they had in cans up in their homes.  Eventually it quit snowing and the roads were nothing more than slush and we were all back on the road headed in what ever directions we were all originally headed......

Weather is worse than forecasted in the beginning but we will "Endever to persevere". (

Really, a quote from The Outlaw Josey Wales?  Impressive and appropriate.

Will this be an annual run?  The Frozen Balls and Nipples Run, perhaps?  You're all a little nutty and totally awesome!  Be safe.

JR, I can't believe how much snow you have ridden in on this trip  :'(.  Is this expected weather this time of year or is this considered the "not so normal"?  :nixweiss:  Are you almost to your destination and what does the forecast going home look like?  I think I would take a different route home so you get out of those higher elevations and away from the snow.  :vrolijk27:
