Harley Bracket Jacket
« on: March 29, 2007, 12:04:10 AM »

Has anyone here tried the new for '07 Harley Bracket Jacket with "Switchback Technology"??

Seems like a pretty cool jacket as you can convert it from a full coverage jacket to a mesh jacket (for riding in the heat) by unziping the front panels.  The fabric is water resistant & come with rain-proof liner.  Also has built in armour.  To top it off it has Screamin Eagle graphics!!

Am looking for such a jacket for our trip out west so I do not have to bring 2 or three different jackets/rain gear etc.

If anyone has tried or seen jacket at dealer please let me know your thoughts (my dealer does not carry jacket).  Thanks John

The new SE jacket that I did like is the "Dragster" windbreaker jacket:

What's on the back of that jacket? Website doesn't allow a view from the back. :(

It has a small SE logo at the top just below the collar. I will post a pic of mine when I get it (had to order my size)

d00d, They have changed the race team jacket this year also. It now storts a SE logo on the sleve. I have also seen one w/ the logo on the back but don't have a part number for it.

Heres a pic of my jacket that Hd-dude was speaking of. Not much of a logo. But picked it up for around $68.00 with 20% discount.

Nikki and I both got our Bracket jackets today. We had to order them. We haven't had a chance to ride with them yet but I'm pretty sure they're going to be great.

Bought 2 of these (one for my BSR) & rode in the TN mountains last week in them.  Light windbreaker - worked well - looks good.

Dude,

Just how many times are you going to pass by Atlanta without checking in?

We went through Columbus to Lookout Mt., Chief.  Stayed far away from Atlanta.  This week's trip the route (as I am told) takes us through Athens to Franklin. No Hotlanta.  Some of the folkses here in N. Floridy are skeered to ride through Atlanta.   ;D    Not me, its a group thang.

Will be returning from our Knoxville trip through Atlanta on Sunday, Aug. 26.  We could get together then or.......

Next time I am working in Atlanta, I will let you know.  Lunch or beers.  Your pick.

There's a good chance we'll be in Knoxville then also, so that will be a great place for beer at lunch.
