New Jackets
« on: June 29, 2010, 03:25:27 PM »

The wife and I stopped in at the Rapid City SD. Harley Dealer last week while on vacation and picked up a couple of
Screamin' Eagle Jackets. We than had a local shop do the CVO embroidery work, just to make them unique.
Thank you to CVO members (Buy early) and (Lolo) for posting the CVO patterns.

OldLefty, thanks for the props! Like what you've done with the file! Here's a few photos of two HD jackets I had done. The grey/black one I got one size smaller that other jackets I wear so I could use it as a liner. It's a windproof fabric and works well for mornings/evenings under a mesh jacket. Can also be worn alone as a jacket. Looks good with high heels and sarong. The black/orange one is just a nice kick around jacket not as good for formal occasions or weddings.

Thanks again,  Joel

Yes to part 1 - load the files on a jump drive or disc and take to embroiderer. The size of the embroidered area is set by the file. If you want a different size, you have to pay for a rescan of the artwork ($50-$200 depending on the size you end up with - depends on stitch count). You can choose the colors of the text and graphics (every letter could be a different color if you wanted) you could alter the graphic to include just the outline of items if you wanted, just can't change the size.

Files are on the way.

Let me see if I understand this correctly...You are riding with a jacket that identifies your bike while riding your motorcycle?  Isn't that like going to a concert with the band's T-shirt on your back?

 ;)

Nice Jackets!

Wouldn't that be true of anyone riding with an HD jacket?

and

I wear my Steely Dan t-shirt every time I see them and I wore my Silver Surfer t-shirt to the SS movie.

Thanks ;)
