Picked up bike at Barne's in Langford. I was the only customer there.

After last years ESP rebuild it was 'smoking'.....so....new rings and valve seals......cylinders honed.......and another new compensator....and a few other small things..... $2600 of the $3200 CDN price of a 5 year extension of the ESP (w/ tire and wheel) recovered.....so far!

And ....$3200 cdn is the best price we could find ....I seem to remember some dealers asking $4400 for 5 years w/T&W

Now, both our social distancing machines are ready to roll!

Just wondering when you mentioned noise.  How many total miles?   And when were the lifters replaced?

Picked up my red pepper from the Tuner yesterday.  The build came out great its 163 HP and 167 Torque, posted dyno run in M8 section.

Hope the roads dry out today so I can go ride it now that it has been properly tuned.

Noticed it getting noisy 2 years ago at about 45,000km.....dealer kept saying 'normal'.....tore top end down at 65,000km and found scored cam lobes....took to dealer for ESP........$10,500 cdn in ESP including much else.

What size motor did you put in it? 128 or 131? Which cam and pipe? Who was your builder?

Like the title says, what did you do to or on your CVO today?

Never once had to adjust/tighten my 3 previous Dynas' Jiffy Stands.  My luck ran out with my 2012 CVO Ultra Classic.  However, a VERY easy cure for what ails that loose Jiffy Stand IMHO.  1/2" Socket on the Retention Bolt (Locking Clamp is undamaged) and OMG...Loose would be an understatement.  Tightened and then Torqued to 50ft/lbs.

Night and Day difference on the Bike now.  Turn the wheel left to right, lock to lock, and NO tip over threat anymore.

Better late than never.  Whole process took 5-7 minutes.

Well, I put 195 miles on the Red Pepper build yesterday.  Wow, rides great.  Spent most the ride in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains riding nice hilly twisty roads.  Bike is very well mannered and easy to ride.  It pulls from most any RPM so its easy to ride the curves.  75 mph roll on power is Fantastic, no need to down shift to pass a line of cars.  I will be riding her to the DR office today and hopefully a nice two or three hour ride after.  Very happy with this build.

Incredible numbers Dave! How’s the “drive-ability” as far as in town and freeway riding? Any harshness?

I replaced the failed water pump on my 15 CVO Limited. Pretty straight forward replacement.  Took the old one apart to see what failed and a connector had broken loose.

Rob,

The bike is very smooth, throttle is very linear.  Rides like a stock bike in town with more power.  Yesterday I put 130 more miles on it, and first time on interstate for 20 miles.  Rides great at 75 mph, load of roll on power.  I have not yet found any issues with ride-ability, but only have 325 miles on it since the tune.  I honestly think it will be better and easier to ride in all situations than it was stock.

My 13 King is that way, way easier and better to ride then stock.  Same people involved in the build of my 13 King as this bike.

I Plan to ride some more today to keep practicing social distancing, and because it will be almost 80 hear in east TN.
