Considering replacement baffles by Big City Thunder
« on: September 19, 2007, 04:55:08 PM »

I just purchased an 08 SE Ultra. I love the bike except for the sound of the exhaust. I think the pipes and mufflers look awesome but sound horrible - if you can hear them. I would like to change the baffles in the exhaust to Big City Thunder baffles and improve the sound while keeping the original look. Does anyone have experience with these or have any other reccomenations?

I have their baffles in a set of Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals on my 03 SERK.  I like them.  They are loud.

How do they compare to Thunder Headers or Rinehart? Louder, softer, or similar? I don't want anything that will wake the neighbors in the next state.
