Title: Howdydoo from Indy
Post by: Tros on February 09, 2007, 10:34:05 AM
Hi, been reading the HD tech stuff here for awhile & wanted to see the bike pics so here I are.  It was nice to be able to use the search without logging in to see the depth of this forum.  I currently ride a metric cruiser so I won't bore ya'll with the details of that.  I'm here to learn more about the CVO bikes & engine mods/problems/reliability etc.  I've got and itch for a Softail with a 103" (or larger) engine.

Ride safe, ride often.

A Great Big CVO :welcome_005: Welcome to you, glad you found your way here.  :vrolijk17:

You may be sorry you stopped by, because some of us have a disease we can't find a cure for, and it is contagious.  :puke: I had a couple of metric bikes before coming over to the HD side.  Then when my wonderful husband bought me a CVO HD, I truly crossed over to the CVO side.  Enjoy!  :2vrolijk_21:

Tros,
Welcome to the best site on the web.  Sit back and enjoy.  I started riding Harley's and I strayed for a while and had some metric bikes, but ya know, after I rode the rest, I came back to the best (in my book at least).  Hope you enjoy your stay with us.  Lot's of good info and people here...we might even get you on a 110 CVO Springer.  8)
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

Hi Tros, you're still welcome, metric or not.  And congrats for what the Colts did in the Super Bowl.  You have the Lombardy trophy and now you want a Harley?  Sheesh, some people just can't be satisfied!!
Next, you'll want the Pacers to take the NBA.

Anyway, good luck on your quest for a softtail.

I'm happy the Colts finally Got R Dun.  Now I won't complain about the new stadium anymore as they deserve it.

If the NBA title involved a bar fight the Pacers might have a chance.   :huepfenlol2:

Tros,

Welcome to the site.  I'm from Indy myself.  Looking forward to the pics of the new ride.

Thanks.  I need to get to Staples for a new camera battery. Today I was busy buying parts & washing off the nasty calcium chloride from yesterdays ride & forgot all about the battery.  It's all nice & purdy again so I need to remember to pick up a battery tomorrow.

I'll be glad when the grass turns green.

Careful what you wish for... When it turns green that means it's going to be growing, which means it'll need cutting, which means you'll be doing that on pretty days when you could be riding. ;D

I'll be glad when the grass turns green.

Why?  Right now it's color matched to the top paint on the Softail.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  I love the Olive Pearl color.  I've wanted a green HD ever since they had Emerald Metallic Green in the early 1980's.  I just finally got off the fence and got one.

Here's the beast I traded in.

Welcome from Texas! I was born in Evansville, Indiana. I use to live in Indy for a while and flew helicopters out in Shelbyville, Indiana. Good friends and good times!
