Bought a 2005 SE Fatboy with 750 miles on it from a freind that passed away.
Sorry to see a bud go, but his bike and memory will ride on.
Been in a Road King saddle for the last 15 yrs. riding a softail is a new thrill, especially the Screaming Eagle Fatboy with the 103 in stroker. I have added a power commander and vance and hines bigshot staggers. Had it dyno tuned and I'm like a kid again!
How do I go about getting my hands on a patch with the CVO owners group logo?

Hello to all of you that posted your welcome to me, I feel honored with such a warm welcome. I hope to hook up with you guys in the Sacramento area, I'm in the big subburb of Galt, so were neighbors.
I hope to post pics of the bike soon, my son is on vacation and borrowed Dads camera. So as soon as he gets back I'll post some pics.
I have added Vance and Hinse Bigshot Staggers and a Power Commander. Needles to say, this sorta unplugged a bunch of power.
Does anyone know if the stage one SE air filter that comes on the bike is comparable to a K&N?

Welcome,
We're glad you found us.

Welcome to the site! There are a lot of us from the Bay Area on this site and we are always riding/getting together with each other along with the Sac people. Where are you in NorCal?
-
Welcome Stitch, quite a few of us here in NORCAL. Hope we can all hook up one day for a ride and social event.
Stock SE's don't come with the optional Screamin Eagle (K&N) air filter to the best of my knowledge. Think EPA compliance. But you can add one of those or the various offerings from Arlen Ness or Zippers, etc. However, you'll need to do the appropriate changes to the ECM/PCIII to compensate. We're here to help and of course assist in spending your HD $'s!

Welcome to CVO Harley!!!!!! :coolblue:

stich, warm welcome from the other NC.

Thanks for the input on the air filter, the bike came stock with a stage one SE dry paper filter.According to Harley that filter is suppose to allow as much or more air than a K&N.
Look forward to hooking up with you guys in the Bay Area and Sac and checking out your scooters.
Was in Europe last year hope to get to the UK maybe next year to meet up with some of you Brits too.
Is there a site that I can check to see when you guys plan rides?

Welcome aboard from San Jose.
I spend a lot of time up at lake Camanche just up the street from you. Several of us locals are doing a flag day run on June 16'th. We'll meet at Peninsula HD and have a CHP escort (They close down the freeway for us) to Golden Gate National cementary. Their is a poker run along the ocean & through the redwoods followed by a nice BBQ. I went last year and their were over 1,000 bikes. We had a blast. If you are interested PM me.
