Welcome!!  My son lives in Meridian and we ride down from Yakima a couple of times a year via Lewiston, White Bird Pass and McCall.  Join me in my boycott of the Hilton Garden Inn in Eagle.  We stayed there three or four times and parked our bikes under the portico off to the right of the main entrance.  We always get a ground floor room so as to be able to keep an eye on the bikes.  There is a covered space on each side of the portico that looks like they were made to park bikes in and completely out of the way of any foot traffic.  Last time there a snotty night manager asked us to move the bikes.  I said sure and proceeded to ignore her as she was of the opinion that what happened at earlier stays was not a precedent for what would happen under her watch.  A half hour later the night custodian shows up and tells us they are going to call the local gendarmes if we don't move the bikes.  F**k that, we left.  I emailed management but never heard a word.  Too bad as there was a really nice distillery next door.

Dan we visit there as my wife's parents and family are there.  We'll join the boycott.  When we pre-ran the Nelson trip last summer the hotel suggested we park right out front in a similar area.  What a difference.  Most likely a jealous, bike hating, (can I use the B word) anyway, why support that attitude with your dollars.  And what's up with no answer from the management?  I'd send it to the Franchisor HQ's.  Bet you get a response then, especially if it put you off all Hiltons.
