Welcome to the site glad to have you join us. :2vrolijk_21: Waiting for a CVO unfortunately is a common occurrence. I waited nine months for mines. :( Hang in there good things come to those who wait in the mean time absorb all the information you can about your bike and you'll be heads up on what you want to do when it comes in.

You mean you actually waited for mines?  The Army taught me to avoid them, and if I ever saw one/some to immediately call EOD.  Seen too many people get real fugged up steppin' on mines let alone waiting on them.

I had the same problem my RK sold before my new bike came in and it was late too, (3 weeks).  The wait I guess was worth it but it taught me a lesson,

Welcome igivup!
I know how you feel... well not really.  ;D Just trying to make you feel better.
But, One day you'll get the call and you won't remember all the waiting anymore!
I waited from Oct - Feb for mine. It was 2-3 weeks late.

A Great Big CVO Welcome to you.  And the waiting?  :bananarock: :huepfenjump3: :nixweiss:  There are more than one member here who waited for many a month for their CVO bike to arrive.  It was like having a real child by the time some of their bikes arrived.  Some of them had the chance to go to the HD Shop and actually watch the birth of their bikes as it came out of the shipping crate.  Some have the pictures of the delivery.  Take advantage of this bikeless time. Study up on your bike.  Watch the birth if you can.  ANd in a couple of weeks, all this will be over and you will have the bike of your dreams.  Congratulations.  Great bike to be waiting for.

Welcome from Ohio. I'm sure the strike didn't do anything to speed things up. You've an excellent ride on order and hope they make it soon. It will be worth the wait but chitty time to be w/o.

A big Florida welcome to the site, igiveup.

Too bad about the bike delay.  If you do not want to wait any longer, there is a black/orange SEULTRA ready to ride at Capital City HD in Tallahassee.

Sounds like my story, ordered mine in Feb, sold my RK March 4th, still have another bike but the wife doesn't like that one. Mine came in June 18th and they are putting a few extras on it and I hope to pick it up this Friday. The waiting bites big time. Yours will be in anytime, enjoy.

I guess it's the right of passage to own one. Waited six months on mine only to give up on my dealer and found one by god's grace 50 miles north at another dealer and went mach 3 with my hair on fire to buy. When I got there a guy was on the phone to buy but because I showed in person I got first shot. Keep going and good luck.

Having suffered a transmisson failure during Daytona bike week, I nursed my ailing dresser back down to Ft Myers, went into the dealership to find out about getting tranny fixed (broken shifter pawl spring} Out back set a brand new shiny SERG o/w/b I asked the sales manger if the bike happened to be sold....He said that they were holding it for a local customer, and that they had been calling him to come pick up his bike, he would not return their callls....long story short, we made a deal right then there, swapped out my plates, i put 50 breakin miles on it....went home Repacked the new bike, and went back to Daytona for the rest of bike, There was only one other new SERG there for bike, ....so the new bike created quite a stir anywhere I parked it.........No waiting, didnt even intend on a new bike the day i bought it...........I love my CVO bike, will never part with it :orange:
