New from Washington state

Hello My name is Carl I picked up my red 07 FXDSE about a month ago. I heard if you get rained on on your first ride it is good luck :huepfenjump3: I guess I should feel lucky then I got dumped on on the way home from the dealer :D :  I have been riding most of my life mainly Kaw and a few Honda's. the last HD I rode was my brothers Sturgis.
My screen name is from my truck Funky Cold Medina on Ford truck world.

Carl,  A Great BIG CVO Welcome to you, and yes,  getting rained on during your initial ride, is the best of luck.  Everything is christened and all your future rides will be blessed.  I bet you have already noticed this about your rides and your wonderful CVO bike.  Of course, if you live in the Pacific North West, getting rained on is pretty much par for the course, is it not?  Just invest in gortex, and you will be good to go.  You have a wonderful bike.

Hey FCM, welcome to the site.  Lots to learn and even more tech info here.

Are you in Medina?  I live in Lake Stevens and work in Bellingham.  Glad to see another Washingtonian here.

If you'd have any interest the site is having a get together in Nelson, BC July 16-20.  A few of us are doing Hwy 20 North Cascades on the 15th from Burlington to Grand Coulee.  Even if you can't stay the night at the dam you are welcome to make a day ride of it over to Winthrop and then loop back over 20 or down through Wenatchee and back around.

There should be about 6-8 of us so it will be a good cruisn' sized group. :2vrolijk_21:
