Yea, I've been following those threads and am quite surprised. I've gotten at least 6 orders from them and never had any problem at all.

Personally I don't like the looks of it and would also be concerned about the extra heat that it would trap which could be detrimental to the life of the starter. Plus its just another hard to get at piece to keep clean!

Yeah, it looks cheap and cheesy.  Not terribly smoothly formed parts, fitting together only averagely, pinned with screws.  Even if it was nice metal work putting an ugly bell around the starter wouldn't look too hot anyway.

Thanks, I agree. That saved me a couple of bucks, now I need to read on here and find something else for my OCD habit. ;D
