Hi,
I was told by H-D to use the 2011 CVO Softail map on my 2012 CVO Softail with the Super Tuner Pro. I did and the bike ran lean so I used the Smart Tune option and the bike ran much better. However, the 2013 version of the software does have a map specifically for the 2012-2013 Softail CVO. I flashed that may onto my bike and the bike runs great. However, I attempted to use Smart Tune and the program crashes when I attempt to load the data I recorded. I'm contacting H-D tomorrow.

is this with stock pipes or have you changed the exhaust in addition to the tuner?

I have V&H slip-on's installed. There no need for a Super Tuner unless you change your pipes or you just want it Dyno tuned.

I phoned H-D today and they won't support the Pro Super Tuner software. So buyer beware stay away from Harley-Davidson Super Tuner Pro modules and software. Their response was "talk to the dealer". The dealer's response was "we have no clue". I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, when I asked to speak to a manager Dave refused to allow me to or have the manager return my call.

Any map available as a download from the HD database is going to be lean, no matter which one it is, or for what model year (on your bike).

I have it on my Convertible, but it was through the dealer and had it dyno tuned there as well.

I was able to finally use the software to smart tune and loaded the map on the bike and it runs great. No backfires or popping at all.
