With all that's going on lately I though a bit of frivolity might lighten our spirits.
Today, March 22nd, is the birthday of Captain James Tiberius Kirk, commander of the Starship Enterprise as I sure all you 'treckie' fans know. Well actually that won't happen for another 208 years but heck who's counting! https://www.midwestalmanac.com/happy-birthday-captain-kirk/
But today IS the actual birthday of William Shanter who is 89 years young today. So cheers :drink: to Mr. Shatner who played one of the most unforgettable characters I can remember.

Oh my gawd Jerry, you should be so ashamed. If you ever had one you've just lost your scifi nerd badge!! It's Trekkie :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Today would have been Leonard Nimoy’s birthday had he still been with us.
I only know that as it is also mine. Very strange to celebrate it by not going out but may we all look forward to many birthdays to come. Stay safe everyone.

Jerry, there is a town in Iowa (Riverside I believe) that must have been mentioned as the birthplace of Capt. Kirk as they have a sign claiming to be the "Future Birthplace of Capt. James T. Kirk".

Have been here. Not in 2228, a few years ago.
