He wrote it, but that's not the song.  Remember if you will:

Sam Stone came home to the wife and family, after serving in the conflict overseas.

And the time that he served had shattered all his nerves and left a little shrapnel in his knees.

But the morhpine eased the pain and the grass grew round his brain and gave him all the confidence he lacked, with a purple heart and a monkey on his back.

There's a hole in daddy's arm where all the money goes Jesus Christ died for nothin I suppose.

Little pitchers have big ears don't stop to count the years sweet songs never last too long on broken radios.

And that's as much as I can remember without a rhythm accompaniment.

Well I s'pose we could speculate on where between $26 and $26,000 the 1880 Morgan Silver Dollar my grandmother gave me is. Now mind you, it's in real good shape, no wear on the ridges on the edge at all and no wear on either face, but under a magnifying glass you can see some fine scratches in the silver. I think I'd rather it be $26 so I don't feel tempted. That was my mom's mom and they were dirt poor and these two silver dollars are the only thing I have that she gave me. So, if it were worth $26,000 then it'd become something of monetary value meaning I'd have to DO something about it. At $26 it's something more than money.

more than money.
Good Friends Lyrics

Good times are worth more than money anyday
That's what I always say
Good friends are worth more than money in the bank
That's what I always say
That's what I always say

Ok, Ok, I will stop now.  It was fun, but these are great lyrics to bring this thread full circle.  SPIDERMAN was playing too, and I'd say Good Friends are worth a whole heck of a lot more than money, and I think this playing is just showing that we are becoming Good Friends.   ;D
