I was the manager at Warrensburg Cycle in MO...(honda, yamaha,suzuki) from 80 to 86, in 85 a few of these CBX's were "found" in Hondas warehouse and we got 2 of them.....I wanted one really bad but the owner was hell bent on selling them for full + pop. I have wanted one since and when I saw this I could not turn it down, especially since I did not pay for the tank the seller did

Had one of those back in the day, right after I sold the 1961 TR6C - once I learned how to use the compression release, it was a real "stump" puller.
Rode it in two "Jack Pine" enduros, still have both Cow Bells somewhere ?

Yup thats the trick with those....prime the hell out of the carb, get it to TDC pull in the comp rls and no throttle....fires every time

Just picked it up this morn....Wife and I rode out to Port Alberni and she drove it home. It's a '99 Grand Am GT Coupe 93xxxkms, 2 previous mature lady owners, loaded with leather and sunroof, 1st long term owner bought new and it had exemplary service at the indy garage her husband owned, 2nd owner had it 2 years and hardly drove it (now has had her license revoked due to medical conditions), brand new Yokohama tires, great (Here I come Red) paint...looks like it's been garaged most of it's life......was told it's hardly left The Island....so NO rust. It's for our Daughter, her first car (yeah, she paid half!)....she comes home from a week in Kamloops....going to send her out to the garage with the recycling to put into the bin and see what her reaction is!

Oops...posted in the wrong place.....the kid's car does not get garage space beside the Harleys!!

I had two, so the wife just had to have two.  So to fix that, I just ordered a 13 CVO road King, I will have three and she can have two. :)
