Well I guess thats why God makes chocolate and vanilla because in person i absolutely love the red/black and the orange/black CVO SG. I guess Im just crazy

I'm lovin' my '17 O/B SG.  I love the color.  I love the graphics. I love the clutch release and engage point.  I love the sound of 1st gear engagement (no noise).  Even my friends who are die hard black bike riders admit they really like it.  So, I guess opinions are just that. My opinion is that it's nice if they do, but I really don't care if anyone likes my bike, the color, the M8, the "never buy the first year of a new model", or not. Once in a while you know you made the right decision and this is one of those times for me.  Guess I'm just crazy, too.

I had my local parts guy figure out what it would cost to build that bike with a 114 motor....well over 40k.  And no you would not get that kind of money back when it was time to trade.  Cool bike though.

 If I was to clone that bike I would start by powder-coating gloss or matte black as many of the stock parts as I possibly could.

 IMHO no need to squander any more funds then necessary funds at the parts counter and by doing your own labor a reasonably close copy could be done in the low - mid- 30's.

Not crazy at all my friend, just different tastes. That's why they make different color combos. Just wish they would have made different paint schemes not crazy about the layout.

They delivered mine last Thursday. Have a buddy that has the pence and black and a buddy that has the blue and black. Both are beautiful to me. I chose the Grey and Black b cause I like a more toned down look. The blue and black has the chrome where the others do not. I love mine. Think it just right!!
