What a beautiful day
« on: October 12, 2008, 08:52:56 PM »

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood the past few days have been.

Started out at Danbury HD today for a little live music and look at some of the new 09 bikes and the 500 or so of riders bikes in the parking lot.

Then went out riding the Litchfield Hills in CT and the weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky, about 70 degrees.

Saw more bikes out today than any other day of the year, thousands on the roads and parked at the coffee, restaurant, scenic stops along the way, even all the 4 wheelers were out for a ride today.

Passed a few state parks and they all had backups of cars waiting to get in to enjoy the scenery.

Today had to be one of the top 5 riding days of the year.

Going back to work on Monday doesn't seem so bad after a riding weekend like this one.  ;)

We had a great one in the Buckeye this weekend as well. Colors starting to turn, excellent roads and riding companions both days. Not a care in the world. That's what this is all about.  :2vrolijk_21:
