since we are blingin this thing out, does any one make a detachable sliding rider to passenger bracket, I've seen the legends sliding mount, but I don't think that's detachable

McLaren and a CVO. Now those are a pair of toys. Would be tough to decide which to take out.
I am thinking the black Screaming Eagle would look better on that tour pack then a chrome one.

Enjoy the new bike. She's a beauty.

Wiseasp & Bloomer,

Your bikes look awesome with the addition of TP's.  :2vrolijk_21:

The paint is spectacular and seeing that you're both "chroming things up", just a suggestion, why not consider the Kuryakyn chrome insert for the mail slot?  That should make it disappear with the silver hard candy paint.

I still can't believe (especially on a $$$ CVO) that the MoCo didn't colour match the mail slot.  :nixweiss:

Anyway, you both should be very proud of your customized beautiful bikes.

Grizzly

PS - For what it's worth... My personal preference: Chrome hinges & latch = Chrome SE Script... Black hinges & latch = Black SE Script

I'm not positive, but I believe the KTP comes pre-drilled with the holes for those arms rests you speak of.  The new 2014 chopped TP holds a lot more than the old style, in case you didn't realize it, so it may have enough space for your purposes - just no 3/4 or full face helmets.

You need the spoiler kit with the LED light and then PN 69201157.   This is a extension wire from the bottom of your seat to the tour pak. The spoiler kit already comes with a "Y" to plug in. I tapped the wires from the side LED to the red and black from the spoiler wires. Those wires are running lights and the blue wire is the brake lights. Hope this helps.

I considered the chopped but I didn't like the the backrest they used, just didn't look right, plus this has more storage, the way I see it is if I'm going to have it hangin back there I might as well get the biggest bang for the buck  :huepfenlol2:

Byron,
The tour pak is available from Harley Davidson and can be found in the 2015 Harley Davidson accessory catalog. You can also visit your local Harley dealer who can look up the part number(s) and order it for you.

Just brought mine a while back, but finally got it installed, as you can see from the pic, don't have to worry about a rider.

looks comfy, I wish someone made a detachable sliding bracket so you could adjust the TP from solo to 2up  ::)

Very nice! I want one for my bike. Do you think they can still be ordered being there is a paint problem?

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and it took a week to come in. So, I would say yes, they might even have them sitting on a shelf waiting for a new home. I believe that is why mine came so quickly.

I ordered a chopped tour pack back on April 2nd, and it arrived 6 days later.

Do I need wire harness 69201157 if I put the side lights on my detachable tourpak?

Got mine in less then a week.  Put luggage rack and smoked taillight on.  I think the engineer was smoked with the instructions and template.  Had to take it all apart for the wiring and drill the hole the grommet!

I got mine in a few weeks.  I put the detachable and put tourpak speakers on them.  Boy was that a bear to tackle...nothing fit, it was all mods.   :cucumber:

Hey guys, I have a question, I just got a king tour pack for my 15 Hard Candy SG. Dealer is telling me there is no way to put lights on it, I see from the pictures it can be done.  How did you guys do it. What wiring harness did you use.   Thanks

For just Running & Brake lights, this adapter plugs in right under the seat, simple Y adapter, unplug the black connector, plug this in and your done

For Running, Brake & Turn signal lights, you have to go aftermarket HD doesn't make one

Chopped tour pak in solo position painted by Joe Z. Had him paint the bag speaker grilles, docking hardware, and tour pak mounting bracket HC Mercury too. Joe did a great job. The paint is a perfect match.

The Joe fella is a pretty good painter and did a heluv-a job on that TP. great looking bike and the flames on top the TP looks awesome. Congrats on a beautiful bike.

Could someone double check my math?  The list above seems to have extra items that are not required for the tourpak itself and looks like it's missing a harness or two.  I have a HC Mercury SG and want to add the king TP with the spoiler with light and smoked side marker lights.  I have paired down the list of what I need below and added in the harness I think will work for the spoiler.  I have no idea if I need an additional harness for the smoked side lights.  I already have the 4 point mount on the bike for the passenger's backrest.  Could someone look over my part numbers to be sure I have everything I need?  Thanks:

92200074DXX - King TP HC
90300030 - TP lock set (keycode needed)
57200086DYO - HC Spoiler
53000239 - Spoiler light smoke
52300260 - TP Pad
54352-09 - TP side marker light
53000323 - TP bottom liner
53000302 - TP Lid organizer
53000221 - TP QR Shelf
69200573 - Harness TP aux lighting

Got the TP installed, put a hold on the lights until i figure out what i want. Also added a Road Zeppelin Seat. Seat is very comfortable but New problem is new seat raises me up into the wind so I'm now on the hunt for a new windshield. Any Suggestions?

Here's the best as far as I'm concerned

http://www.clearviewshields.com/motorcycle-windshield/harley-davidson/harley-2014-electra-glide-street-glide-tri-glide-limited-windshield/

With the curve at the top it allows you to have a smaller shield to look over and still be protected from the wind.

I've enjoyed one of these for the past 10 years +

Another is Freedom Shields, I had one on my 2011 and loved it, just ordered one for my 15. It was with the CVO member discount and shipping $101 to my door for a 7" Dark w/recurve.

I was contemplating the same seat for the 2 up rides. I love the stock seat but for the passenger not so much. Any 2 up feedback?

Enjoy and ride safe!

Plus 1
I also had one on my older SG, and put the same as above on the new one. This shield really improves the quietness in the rider area, as well as reduces the number of bug hits in the face! Even though the height is the same as the OEM.

Do share the info regarding your rear fender lighting !!! I have not seen that on a CVO SG

Those are H-D spoilers and lights on Tour-Pak and saddlebags. They work as running and brake lights. Have the Custom Dynamics® Gen2 Ultimate Magic Strobes Brake Light Flasher on rear. They really are sweet. Everyone I ride with either has them or are getting them. Really fires up the rear and makes you more noticeable when braking.

I was referring to the rear fender itself. it appears you have a tri-bar on your fender tip but rather than three its four bars, regardless I have not seen that on a CVO Model.
