Unknown Squeaky Noise 2015 CVO Street Glide
« on: October 03, 2014, 12:45:17 PM »

Anyone having a "squeaky type noise" emanating from the front of their bike, particularly in the fairing/surrounding areas while riding? I cannot seem to figure out what may be causing this, so I figured some of you gurus may have some ideas before I take it to the dealer for "analysis".

Bike only has 150 miles on it to date, and haven't experienced a similar sound from previously owned '14 Street Glide, '13 Electra, and  '12 Street Glide.

Any thoughts/possibilities?

I had a bad squeak on the bolts on the top outside of the forks.  Where auxiliary driving lamps attach to the forks.  Cross threaded, tight but not all the way in.  Penetrating oil, remove clean and thread it right.  Squeak gone.

I had a similar issue on my 12. was the bolts on the side, I believe the ones that are above and below the turn signals.  was driving me mad.  tightened and all was good
