I got the news yesterday. Mike checked himself in the hospital friday afternoon. They are not sure what the problems is or was. He was having chest pains. He is on his way home now. He has a FD escort. He said the doc told him to rest. we all know that won't happen. he also said the doc said no pepsi. So i guess that means no dickel. I will let you know more when I do.

Thanks guys. I am home and resting. It is most likely stress related from the job or too much caffeine. Regardless I see my doctors tomorrow. But I promise everything is OK.

I did check myself in Friday with a sharp pain in the center of my chest. All tests were negative. Was released yesterday and spent the night with family.

I did check myself in Friday with a sharp pain in the center of my chest. All tests were negative. Was released yesterday and spent the night with family.

Since when - denial is the biggest problem with coronary issues - how many times have you said that to someone on a run?

We need to practice what we preach Mike - Hope it is a non issue and get checked! Sooner rather then later

Been there, done that, almost cancelled my ticket.  Dawg, I truly hope this was just a false alarm, but please don't assume anything.  There is no hard and fast rule about pain and discomfort affecting the left arm only.  For that matter, there are no hard and fast rules period.  Some experience peripheral pains, some experience no pains.  As I've been learning over the past year, without testing even doctors can't tell the difference between heart attacks and acid reflux for instance.

Thanks Jerry. I promise you all I have not taken this for granted. I am doing a follow up tomorrow morning. I am feeling great except for the right shoulder and arm. I know if I were allowed George would take the pain away. So far 2 days with no pepsi and I really do feel better.
