Lost my Mom yesterday.

I got home from work just before 5pm yesterday.

I opened the door to ask mom what she wanted for dinner, and saw her in her favorite chair, slumped to one side.

I watched her for a bit and called to her twice. I saw no movements from her. I knew...

Sorry to hear about your mom. I lost a dear uncle three weeks ago. Heart attack and layed in his home for two days before he was found.

To All:

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. We lost my Wife's Father 4 days before Thanksgiving as well.

The year is off to a rough start... but at least it will bring the family together again...

Fortunately Mom had the foresight to have an insurance plan... and she had enough time to discuss with me her wishes.

I just wasnt ready for this yet... Life goes on however, and we will overcome...

I love her and I miss her very much. She is now with Dad, who has been waiting for almost 40 years. I'm sad, but happy for them to be together again.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in 08 to pancreatic cancer and now I live with and take of my 75 year old mom. This hit very close to home for me. I dread the thought of this day coming for me. My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.... God bless you for being there for your mom.

I truly feel your pain, as I lost my Dad two days ago and I have to say it is very hard right now. My prayers are with you and your family. God Bless!

So sorry for your loss, we unfortunately just dealt with a similar situation. Just buried my 53 yr old sister. Takes time to get past the pain..............................................Fuzz

Sorry to hear of both losses. I know I still miss my Mom who left us 5 years ago, all we can do is remember the good times.
