Changed exhaust wow
« on: January 03, 2016, 02:16:11 AM »

Ok, so I have a 11 Convertible... purchased it new and have made minor changes,  first was ditching the stock pipes for V&H big radius 2n2... loved them and they made my bike sound like a drag racer....with the addition of a dobeck ejk tuner the bike has run great and I was pretty happy.... that is until I saw the V&H high output 2 into 1 pipe. ...wow... I found a used one for just over 350 on ebay off a fat boy and was happy I bought it.... it's was about a 45 min project to switch out the pipes and the ensuring ride was worth it... the seat of my pants dyno tells me this was a definite performance upgrade....in 2nd gear once I twist the throttle and revs hit about 3500 I thought I was going to pop a wheelie.... I'm a super happy rider...

Just thought I would share incase anyone else was on the fence...the sound is great, loud rumble not as hot rod sounding as the big radius but still a great sound.
