Origin of "Breakout" name and tank emblem
« on: March 12, 2013, 06:17:30 PM »

Hey folks,

I checked the threads and didn't see that this has been asked before.  Please correct me if I am wrong on that.

Someone was asking me about this today, and I thought I would put it to the group.

Does anyone else think the "Breakout" name is related to the fact that Willie G. recently retired?  My understanding is this was the last bike that was designed under his control.  Also, the tank emblem is definitely a Willie G. skull....

There was an interview with the project lead, its on youtube. He says in the interview that the name Breakout came from the idea of breaking out of the mold. The skull having to do with Willie G. makes sense.
