No......they just come off a little easier, but it still takes a little less work.

Love bugs most definitely suck. Nasty little glue bottles with legs & wings

. They will stain paint if not removed promptly. I used Vaseline on the front of a car once when living in GA. Worked but was a pain to get off. Japanese beetles stink too.
