Scheduled maintenance standard/reference workload
« on: June 22, 2017, 02:55:59 PM »

Hello

Is there any standard/reference workload/labor hours for the different scheduled maintenance?

Thank you for your information

Harley does publish a Labor Time Standard document for the dealers, but dealers are not obligated to use those times for customer paid work, only warranty.  So if you're trying to determine if your dealership is ripping you off, like most do, you could take the information from those time standards and multiply the hours by the dealerships posted labor rate to see how close they are.  I don't have the standards for 2015, but I'm attaching the maintenance page from a 2012 book for reference.  The times should have remained the same from 2012 to 2015 for most normal maintenance, the only big difference I can think of is the 25,000 mile steering head bearing service on the 2014 and later bikes.

If the attachment is too small, click on it to enlarge.

Thank you Jerry  :2vrolijk_21: Exactly what I was looking for.

I guess my dealer performed the maintenance twice...   :-\
