Title: RODE IT HOME, YELLOW SEEG
Post by: monorat on April 30, 2005, 10:01:56 PM
"Thunder Chicken" hatched on Thursday and I rode it home today. 155 miles from Carson/Tahoe HD to my garage.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] First impressions--color is unbelievable in the sun--thing rides on a rail (compared to my 94 Road King) suspension not as bad as I expected, no bottoming, no front fender hitting lowers, but will still try the progressive 440's but not as soon--power up the a-- but so quiet (Freedom pipes will help both) standard whip antenna pulled in more stations than my Ford Super Duty. Yellow dash not BLINDING--A TOOL KIT WITH A HARLEY  [smiley=laugh.gif] Got to keep moving or it draws a croud with a million questions. More wind buffiting than expected. Tonight in garage will--install speaker trim, windshield trim, radio trim, billit saddle latches, windshield triple pouch, take off tour pack, lowers, try to figure out garage door opener and pager alarm. Will let you know, gotta get er done  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Monorat, congrats on the new ride.  You will like it more every time you ride it.  These SEEGs are undoubtedly the best HDs made!   [smiley=vrolijk_19.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Congrtulations Monorat........I'm happy for you.  I agree with Loose Goose......the more you ride it, the more you like it.

The questions never end.  My SEEG is an 04 and I still have other Harley owners ask me "who painted it?".  I tell em "I did".....just for laughs [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]  I'm surprised how many actually go for it........"so how much do you charge for a paint job like that?".  That's about the time I twist the throttle and burn rubber.

Monorat = congradulations - they are spectacular - someone asked me what the little display on the radio was - told them it is a gps- dvd screen - HA - it looks so good that it must have one of those also - by the end of the day tho I finally told them it was just the radio display, but had everyone looking at it at work
