I'm same height as you. I used LRS on my last two bikes without issue. On this one, a 15 FLTRUSE, I went with the 14" Freedom Shield. It is well worth the extra money. They do give a nice discount for CVO members also and customer service is second to none.

I have no experience with LRS which looks like a very good product. I bought a 7" Freedom Shield with the recurve, at 6' tall it works great for me.

I went with the Klock Werks 6.5" Flare on my 2015 SG. Huge improvement and I'm 5'11". They have larger sizes which may be better suited give your height.

At 5'11" I imagine you are looking through the windshield not over it?

I went with the 10" HD Windsplitter the day I purchased the bike.  I am 5'11' tall and look well over the shield.  Great wind blockage; I do wish it was tinted a bit more though.  HD replaced it under warranty no questions asked when it developed a crack due to an overtightned mounting screw (Dealer installed).

Klock wreks flare works really well, and the owners are awesome to deal with. Check them out at kustombaggers.com

+ a bunch for Freedom Shields.  I really like my 15" on the RGU in medium smoke tint.  John Lauk at FS will definitely treat you right!

I am 6'. The wind hit me right on my forehead with the stock shield. I have the Klockwerks 6.5 now. I can see everything over the shield yet the wind is now just over my head. Looks good, works good.

I can do either. If I just sit relaxed and normal I look through the windshield. When the weather is worse I always straighten up and become much more alert. At that point I am looking over the windshield but still most of the water is deflected.
