So what comes with the bike?
« on: August 30, 2009, 05:20:56 AM »

My CVO Ultra came with a tool kit, a bike cover, lined saddle bags, zippered luggage bags and the gold key. What do we get with the CVO street glide?

You also should have received a garage door opener, Tour Pak bag,the helmet intercom set-up, the disks for the abs and nav system, and the owners manual.

I may have missed something as you did but someone will chime in.

Hi Dick,

Yes indeed it did (well apart from the garage door opener, us folk in England are not allowed such things) but I'm going to move to a CVO Street Glide and can see nothing that goes in to that detail.

The original poster is asking what comes w/the SESG not the CUSE. From reading some of the post of members that have them I don't believe it comes w/a garage door opener, tourpak bag (bike doesn't come w/a tourpak), helmet intercom (doesn't come stock w/intercom since there is no TP), no nav system, and I'm not sure about the ABS (but I doubt the SESG has that standard).

Unfortunately, I don't see a list of items anywhere on the H-D web site like they used to have in previous years.  Perhaps the glossy sales brochure at the dealership will have a list?

IF they followed previous custom, I would assume you should get the CVO indoor dust cover, the "gold" key, removeable saddlebag zippered bags.  Other items that came on earlier models, like rider backrests and garage door openers, don't seem to apply to the SESG.  Of course, the T-P removeable bag also isn't included, nor is all the extra stuff for the upgraded audio system of the CUSE.  So just guessing, but it looks like you received all you're going to get.  I would still ask the dealer to show me his list of what the extras should be (trust me, he has such a list).

Cruise and ABS are standard on the SESG.  It did come with the saddle bag luggage (the same as came on my SEEG) and the CVO bike cover and a CD for the ABS.

it has warning lights for cruise and ABS

Different countries have different specs on some models, so in some countries ABS is an option and in others it comes as standard. The radio prob will have a nav comm & intercom buttons but doesnt mean they are available option on your model bike, the acc switch  might be there but have nothing connected, some countries have cigarette lighter power socket as standard,  etc etc.........

I'm not going to miss the Sat Nav on my FLHTCUSE2 (bike in the picture), been running a Zumo 550 for the last two years, I know there was a version 2 set of CD's in the States but Europe was still on version 1, thats 2005 data. The CB radio was as good as useless here to. The HDI version seems to be the same throughout. I have a Tequila Sunrise reserved with a delivery date around February/March time.
