Got 'em installed and they look fine. I also bought the saddlebag guard bags (right side has the bag and the left is waterbottle holder).

All that said and done, the engineer in me says the geometry doesn't quite pass the test and I wonder if they really will "guard" the saddle bags...especially the CVO stretched bags.  God forbid I ever find myself in a position to see them tested - so I'm happy to be left guessing for the rest of a very long life rather than see that questioned answered in person.

3 years agao I did drop a Softail going around a turn/bend. To this day, I know my leg would have been pinned had it not been for the front guard (no saddlebag guards though) - the difference between riding an ambulance and walking away.

Anyone want to trade the rear engine guard / saddle bag rails off of my Ultra for just the engine guard?
