Guys, does anyone know if the CVO emblem on the tank console is supposed to be lit when the bike is running on the 2011 SESG? I have seen pictures on other 2011s where the emblem is backlit red when the motorcycle is operating - mine doesn't and I am wondering if it should be.  Thanks Lance

The CVO Softail has a "lit" emblem...not the others!  That is what you have seen!

Can understand you thinking this as I'm sure I read somewhere that it was illuminated. Been too busy playing around with the bike to worry about it.

thanks - so it would seem that it should be backlit!  How do I check it and does it backlight for anyone else here??

Like most articles and reviews.....THAT GUY WAS WRONG!  Only the Softy CVO emblem lights up!

Don't know where that article came from, but with all the responses from people with 2011 SESG's all saying that it is not lit--I would think the article was wrong.

No not on the SESG  only theultra

Mine doesn't light ... oddly enough it also doesn't stick - the glue at the front keeps lifting.  Personally I think they cheaped out on it .. no reason not to backlight or do something a little nicer than a plastic stick-on but if that's my biggest gripe I'm feelin' pretty good!
